Grocery and fruit crisis in UK market chains

Asda announced that only 3 heads of lettuce, broccoli and cauliflower can be purchased per customer, while Morrisons has a limit of 2 cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce and peppers per customer.

In the statement issued by the British Retail Consortium (BCR), it was indicated that there were supply problems in some fruits and vegetables that the country mainly imports, especially tomatoes.
