Blinken: The opportunities for Turkey and Greece will be incredible

In an interview with MEGA TV broadcast in Greece, US Secretary of State Blinken stated that after the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, Greece’s rush to support Turkey touched the hearts of the Turks, saying: “I was there and I spoke with many Turkish colleagues. One of the first things they said was how significant it was to get help from Greek citizens. I think it creates a nice atmosphere.” he said.

Expressing his hope that the calm in Greece-Turkey relations would continue, Blinken said: “Maybe there will be an opportunity to strengthen the dialogue in the coming months and resolve long-standing problems.” saying.
