King Charles visits Ukrainian soldiers

King Charles III of England yesterday visited Ukrainian soldiers trained at the Wiltshire military base in England as part of Operation Interflex.

It was emphasized that the training program carried out by the British Army and its international partners was 35 days, and it was stated that the training generally consisted of ‘basic combat courses’. Training of Ukrainian soldiers was claimed to include survival, defense, use of weapons, marksmanship, field use, first aid, and knowledge of conflict laws.

The officials stated that 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers have received this training so far. The soldiers were claimed to have been trained by instructors from the 1st Irish Guards Battalion, Ranger Regiment from the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Lithuania, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden and Finland.
