As the war between Russia and Ukraine continues, Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a speech in parliament.
Sharing an update on the Russia-Ukraine war, Putin said, “I am giving this speech at a difficult time for our country” and that this war will shape the future of Russia and the Russian people.
“We have done everything possible to resolve this problem with Ukraine by peaceful means,” Putin said. We were patient, we negotiated to find a peaceful way out of difficult times, but a completely different scenario was prepared behind us, ”he said.
Accusing Western countries of waging war, Putin said: “Western countries under the leadership of the United States wanted to gain unlimited power. The West tried to cut Russia’s income with sanctions packages, but was unsuccessful.
