China’s “Blue Sky Search and Rescue” team is working non-stop.

Based in Beijing, the team started its activities in 2007 and operates in natural disasters such as earthquakes, typhoons, floods and avalanches, as well as forest fires and major accidents.

Some 200 members of the team, who arrived in Turkey just after the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes, continue their work in Malatya and other earthquake-affected provinces.

Working on the wreckage with salvage equipment such as a thermal imaging device and radar life detectors, the team performs search and rescue work alternately for 24 hours.

The Chinese Blue Sky Rescue (Blue Sky Rescue) team working in Malatya works non-stop on the remains of Malatya.

Supporting the search and rescue efforts carried out by AFAD, UMKE, 112 Health Emergencies, police, gendarmerie and firefighters, the team also contributed to the rescue of 40-year-old Yasemin Soylu, who was rescued from the rubble of the 5-story building. building that was destroyed in the vicinity of the Niyazi Mısri Mosque yesterday.

With team members working on the wreckage with the camera system known as “snake’s eye”, the exact location of the earthquake victim was determined and salvaged.

The Chinese team, which had a good dialogue with their Turkish colleagues in the search and rescue efforts, gained recognition after the rescue of the earthquake victim.

Turkish search and rescue teams, wanting to express their gratitude to the Chinese team, said: “The 40-year-old woman, whom we identified on February 10 but whose location we could not pinpoint, helped locate the woman and then the Firefighters teams from Sivas and AFAD pulled her out alive. We would like to thank Anhur 4th group for their work on behalf of our entire nation.” (AA)
