Donation campaign for Turkey and Syria launched in schools in Pakistan
According to national media reports, Education Minister Rana Tanvir Hussein signed the decision to launch a donation drive in schools on the instructions of Prime Minister Sharif.
Minister Hussein announced that the campaign will continue until the injuries of the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria are healed.
From the Ministry of Education, Dr. Gulam Ali Mallah, speaking to the AA correspondent, said the relief campaign, which was first launched in 5 schools in Islamabad today, will spread across the country.
In today’s campaign, teachers and students supported the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria through donation boxes set up in schools.
On the other hand, campaigns in support of Turkey continue at Punjab University, National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and Mazen Schools. (AA)
