Earthquake disaster: Assad’s daughter’s message sparked a reaction
In the earthquake disasters that took place in Kahramanmaraş and thousands of people lost their lives, search and rescue efforts continued in Turkey and Syria, while the social media of Zein Assad, the daughter of Syrian President Bashar Assad, became the agenda.
In the Corriere della Sera story, one of Italy’s most widely read newspapers, it was claimed that Assad’s 19-year-old daughter warned his supporters. In the post, it was noted that Assad used the phrase “Be careful, don’t send aid to those areas.”
“YOUR HELP WILL NOT ARRIVE HERE”
In the news signed by Francesco Battistini, the actions of Assad’s daughter took place, who uses Instagram with the nickname “zzzeiiinnn”. Zein Esad, who lives in London with her mother Esma Esad, said: “Be careful who you donate to. There are groups that support terrorists in Idlib. This aid will not reach Aleppo, Latakia or Hama.
On the other hand, while it was claimed that the aid was not reaching the regions under opposition control in Syria, the Italian media shared the comment that “the region under opposition control is the most affected place in Syria”.
