Zelensky: Austria sees the evil that Russia has brought to our state
Ukrainian President Zelenskiy spoke at the joint press conference after meeting with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen, who visited the Ukrainian capital kyiv.
Zelenskiy stated that he briefed Van der Bellen on the situation at the front and that Russia was preparing to increase attacks.
Zelenskiy said that he invited Austria to actively participate in demining activities in Ukraine and they discussed Austria’s possibilities in humanitarian aid activities during the meeting. Zelenskiy said he also discussed the peace formula, grain shipments from Ukraine and humanitarian initiatives during the meeting.
“Austria sees the evil that Russia has brought to our state and our people with its attacks.” Zelenskiy said Austria can help protect the lives of people and all Europeans whose lives Russia is trying to destroy.
Zelenskiy said that Austria is a neutral country in the military sense, but supports Ukraine as a defender of common European life and values.
Zelenskiy also added that Austria can help with anti-UAV systems, electronic warfare and demining systems, ambulances and fire trucks. (AA)
