The country talks about it… Fifth case of mass poisoning in schools in two months
It was reported that there was a fifth case of mass poisoning in approximately 2 months in schools in the Iranian city of Qom.
According to Iranian state television news, many female students were poisoned at the Belkıs Burkay Girls’ High School in the city of Kum for an undetermined reason. Symptoms such as nausea, headache and numbness in the extremities were observed in the students.
7 poisoned students and 1 teacher were hospitalized and treated.
In Kum, cases of mass poisoning were previously reported at Nur Art School on November 30 and December 13, and at Fatimiye High School on January 28 and 30.
The semi-official Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) reported on the matter: “Despite the investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office and Qom deputies, the authorities do not know anything or do not want to explain the reason for the problem.” (AA)
