Former Brazilian President Bolsonaro Wants to Stay Longer in the US Related articles

Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, who fled to the US state of Florida a month ago, reportedly wants to stay longer in the US. According to a law firm, he applied for a six-month visa. His current visa will soon expire, according to law firm AG Immigration.

Bolsonaro supporters had attacked government buildings in the Brazilian capital Brasilia on January 8 over discontent over the loss of their idol in the election.

The far-right Bolsonaro had flown to Florida in late December, shortly before the end of his mandate. He was therefore not present at the inauguration of his socialist successor and former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
