Another poll that got Biden in trouble
In a Gallup poll conducted January 2-22, “What do you think is the most important problem facing this country today?” Twenty-one percent of respondents answered the question as “government and bad leadership.”
This was followed by “high inflation” at 15 percent, “irregular immigrants” at 11 percent and “economy” at 10 percent.
Last year, in the survey conducted with the same questions, “inflation” and “economy” ranked first with 16 percent, “government and bad leadership” remained at 15 percent, “irregular immigrants” remained by 8 percent.
TOP OF THE LIST IN 24 PROVINCES
In the survey, participants’ partisan responses to the same questions differed.
Republican voters lead the pack with 24 percent on the issue of “government and bad leadership,” compared with 18 percent among Democrats.
Republican respondents ranked “inflation” and “irregular immigrants” second and third on the list with 18 percent, while they ranked “the economy” as the fourth most important issue with 11 percent.
Eleven percent of Democratic-based participants said they see “inflation,” 9 percent the “economy” and 5 percent “irregular immigrants” as the most important problem. (AA)
