Swedish official Stenström: organized crime gangs finance the PKK in Sweden
Speaking to Swedish state radio SR, Stenström said he is considering contacting Turkey next week for the resumption of the tripartite mechanism meeting on NATO membership between Turkey, Sweden and Finland.
Stenström said: “As there will be no useful and reliable meeting at the moment, there would be no point in meeting and discussing, possibly making the process even more difficult. However, I intend to contact the Turkish side early next week so that face-to-face meetings can continue.” he used his statements.
“NOT POSITIVE FOR NATO MEETINGS”
Regarding the postponement of the Permanent Joint Mechanism meetings with Sweden and Finland, Stenström said: “Although what is being done is legal, burning the Holy Quran in front of the Stockholm Embassy in Turkey offended the entire religion. This is not positive for the NATO talks, it is a sad situation and we have expressed our opinion on it.” he said.
Stenström, who also made statements about the PKK/YPG terrorist organization, drew attention to the fact that the PKK/YPG terrorist organization has more money in Sweden as the reason why Turkey pays more attention to Sweden than to Finland.
Stenström said: “In Sweden, organized crime gangs finance the PKK. Unlike Finland, the PKK has more financial resources in Sweden.” saying. (AA)
