Polish Prime Minister: “We send 250 tanks to Ukraine”
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki told French television LCI that helping Ukraine defend its freedom means defending European values.
Underlining that they will vote in favor if the issue of supplying fighter jets to Ukraine comes to light, Morawiecki said: “However, this can of course be a decision that only NATO will make.”
Morawiecki stressed that the West should be more courageous in supporting Ukraine by providing more advanced weapons.
Noting that his country continues to support Ukraine with weapons, Morawiecki said: “So far we have sent 250 tanks to Ukraine. We will also be shipping 60 more of our most advanced tanks in the coming weeks. We will deliver an additional 14 Leopard tanks. In other words, this number will reach 300,” he said. (AA)
