Israeli planes attacked a military zone belonging to Palestinian armed groups in the central part of Gaza, one after another.
The Palestinian Health Ministry did not comment on whether there were any casualties or injuries in the attack.
The attack caused violent explosions and damage to nearby houses.
Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, said in a statement that the air defense forces responded to the Israeli planes with surface-to-air missiles and anti-aircraft missiles over the Gaza Strip at dawn.
In the statement made by the Israeli army, it was announced that 2 rockets were fired from Gaza towards the Jewish settlements near the border, and these were prevented by the air defense system.
