UK and New Zealand PM’s joint agenda is ‘hot dog pie’
Humorous posts by the British and New Zealand Prime Ministers became the agenda on social media.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, referring to newly appointed New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins’ love of sausage rolls, “I hope we will discuss our shared priorities in person soon, perhaps over a British sausage roll?” he shared his message.
Hipkins replied to Sunak: “I’ll get the ketchup.” “I look forward to working together to promote the strong relationship between the two countries that share many things in common, including the sausage roll,” the New Zealand Prime Minister wrote.
Known for his fondness for sausage rolls, Hipkins cut a birthday cake made from sausage rolls on his birthday in September and shared the photos on social media.
Sausage roll pie is known as a frequently eaten dish by the British. New Zealanders, on the other hand, consume tomato sauce with many dishes. (DHA)
