Since last week, Bosman has seen videos appearing all over Moscow rooftops where anti-aircraft guns are being set up. “This is fairly new.” According to Bosman, the new development has to do with Ukraine striking Russian targets in the Saratov region and Ryazam. There, airfields were bombed by drones 700 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. “Ukraine now has a missile that can fly more than a thousand kilometers, so Moscow is within reach.”

However, the placement of anti-aircraft missiles is also said to be a way for the Russian government to show that Moscow takes the war in Ukraine seriously. Bosman spoke to a critical Kremlin political scientist and former Kremlin adviser who calls it a major PR loss for Putin.
