The Ministry of Commerce announced that surveillance will be applied to imports of bulk ethyl alcohol and maltodextrin derivatives as food additives.

According to the statement from the Ministry of Commerce on the implementation of import surveillance published in today’s edition of the Official Gazette, bulk ethyl alcohol of 99 percent or more purity with a customs unit value of less than 1, 15 dollars/kg and maltodextrin derivatives with a unit customs value of 1.25 dollars / The importation of those with a unit customs value of less than 1 kg can be done with a surveillance document that will be issued by the General Directorate of Imports .
