2 police officers arrested in France for killing homeless people with a toy gun
According to the news from the French TF1 Info, based at the Paris Prosecutor’s Office, the investigation launched against the two police officers accused of shooting the 49-year-old homeless man continues. Security forces detained two police officers as part of the investigation.
Following a notice against the person who was walking with a toy gun in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, the police neutralized the person by shooting him in the chest with 4 shots.
Police sources told Le Figaro newspaper that the gun in the homeless’ hand was not real, saying the person who did not tell police was shot because they saw him as a threat.
Some sources also claimed that this person turned to the police after threatening a dog with a gun and was neutralized during this time. The National Police Investigation Corps (IGPN) opened two investigations into the incident, one of them against the police. (AA)
