Murder suspect found dead in vehicle
The loss of life was announced to have increased to 10 and 10 people were injured in the shooting in the Monterey Park district of Los Angeles, California.
US officials shared photos of the attacker.
The Monterey Park Police Department, the California Governor’s Department of Emergency Services and the Los Angeles Field Office of the FBI also participated in the extensive investigation of the shooting.
After the attack, a white wagon was investigated and followed by the police. For a long time, special teams took control of the car environment.
Huu Can Tran, 72, who was later thought to have carried out the attack, was found dead in the vehicle. He determined that the attacker was a member of the dance club and that he met his ex-wife there. Police believe the attacker committed suicide, but the real reason behind the attack is still unknown.
The attack took place at a nightclub during Chinese New Year celebrations in the region.
