Biden replaces White House chief of staff
The AP reported that Biden plans to name Zients as White House Chief of Staff.
It was claimed that the White House did not respond to requests for comment on the news about the relevant amendment.
Regarded as a crucial management expert in government and the private sector, Zients served as director of the National Economic Council and acting director of the Office of Management and Budget during the administration of former President Barack Obama.
After leading the White House epidemic team during the Biden era, Jeff Zients left this role last April, but continued to work in the White House on a low profile in areas such as research and policy planning, at the request of Ron Klain.
It was reflected on the news that Klain, who was Biden’s private secretary when he was vice president in the Obama administration, was considering leaving his current post for a long time, and that he was aiming to leave after Biden’s “State of the Union.” Speech of February 7. (AA)
