Notable step of Russia: an air defense system was installed on the roofs of some buildings in Moscow

The installation of air defense systems on the roofs of some buildings in Moscow, the capital of Russia, generated comments that “Russia is preparing for possible attacks.”

Pictures showing that an air defense system was placed on the roof of the Defense Ministry and some military buildings as a precaution against possible missile and UAV attacks were spread on social media. Educational institutions were among the buildings where the S-400 and Pantsir systems were placed in many parts of Moscow.

Russia is uncomfortable with the fact that Western countries have been providing billions of dollars in arms aid to Ukraine in the recent period. As the war in Ukraine continued with all its violence, especially in the eastern Donbas region, the Ukrainian army had carried out airstrikes in some areas of Russia close to the border in the previous months.

Experts stressed that the latest measures are a sign that Moscow is concerned about attacks on Russian cities. In Russian media news, it was noted that the authorities took several measures to strengthen Moscow’s air defense.
