The peak of the corona in China seems to be over. Reuters reports. The number of sick and hospitalized patients is decreasing every day and there seems to be little change, said a spokesman for the China Health Commission.
“The number of visitors to corona clinics is steadily declining nationwide, both in cities and rural areas,” Jiao Yahui of the China Health Commission said in a news report. He also said that the number of emergency cases is declining and that positive tests have also dropped significantly.
“The peak is clearly behind us,” he continued. ‘And even though the numbers aren’t good yet and there are still people in the hospital, it mostly affects older members of the population.
Better training
Wen Daxiang, an official of the Shanghai Health Commission, said that China will increase health monitoring to keep the population at risk under control. He also said that the supply of medicines and medical equipment in China should be increased and the training of health workers in agricultural areas should be improved.
