Zelensky: Everything was completely destroyed

The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, evaluated the latest situation at the front in the framework of the war that has been going on for months between Russia and Ukraine, with a video message that he shared late at night.

Stating that they met with representatives of the Ukrainian security forces and discussed the latest developments regarding the war, Zelenskiy noted that the most intense clashes took place in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

Stating that they did not allow Russian forces to advance fighting Russian forces in said regions, Zelenskiy said: “The war continues for Donbas.” saying.

Stating that the Russian forces are making efforts to seize the city of Soledar, especially in the Donetsk region, Zelenskiy said: “Although the invaders have now concentrated their greatest efforts on Soledar, the result of this hard and long war will be the release. of our entire Donbas.” he used his statements.

“EVERYTHING HAS BEEN COMPLETELY DESTROYED”

Zelenskiy claimed that the town of Bahmut, where fierce fighting continued, was severely damaged and that there was a similar situation in Soledar, continuing as follows:

“What did Russia want to gain there? Everything was completely destroyed, almost no life was left and thousands of its inhabitants were lost. On the Soledar side, the entire terrain is covered with corpses of occupants and missile marks. This is what madness looks like.”

Zelenskiy said that new weapons sent by partner countries as aid to Ukraine continue to arrive, and work on them continues.

Emphasizing that they also need more assistance with weapons, Zelenskiy said: “I am sure that our soldiers at the front will have these weapons and equipment in the near future.” he said. (AA)
