The social media phenomenon, whose prostitution gang was exposed, also tried to set up the famous politician’s daughter.
New details have emerged about the “prostitution gang” of Andrew Tate, a former American boxer and social media phenomenon detained in Romania.
Tate, popular in far-right circles in the US and who has reacted with his sexist statements, was arrested last week on charges of rape and human trafficking with his brother in an operation in Bucharest. Tate’s arrest after his confrontation with famed climate activist Greta Thunberg, which had a huge impact on social media, was widely covered by the press.
Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper reported that two young women, dubbed “Tate’s angels”, were running the prostitution ring. Luana Radu, a 32-year-old former police officer who ran the Tate prostitution ring, and Georgiana Naghel, 28, an American “entrepreneur and social media phenomenon”, were also arrested.
According to new reports in the Romanian press, among those targeted by the gang was the daughter of a famous Romanian politician. Daria Gusa, the daughter of one of the country’s most renowned politicians, former parliamentarian and businessman Cozmin Gusa, said that when she was 16, Andrew Tate tried to include her on a sexually explicit website.

The young woman, who is now 19 years old, said that three years ago, Tate attendees sent her messages and invited her to join the site that does online sex content, and that Tate also invited her to meet. Gusa, who declined these invitations at the time, pointed out that the police should have been after Tate long before and it was too late.
Gusa said that Tate was trying to impress women with his fancy cars, private planes and expensive restaurants that he went to.
‘DONS OF MEN WHO COMES EVERY DAY BY BUS’
Tate and his brother Tristan are accused of taking the girls and women they tricked into pretending to be lovers to a house of prostitution in Bucharest and forcing them to film sexually explicit material. It was determined that at least 8 women who were at home during the operation were forced to record sex videos with web cameras.
Neighbors living near the house also said the house was full day and night, with large numbers of men from the UK and the US arriving by bus. According to reports, these young people told the neighbors what was going on inside that they were studying entrepreneurship and marketing at home.
Lawyers for Tate, a US and British citizen who is on trial under arrest, argue there is insufficient evidence against their clients.
