“WE ARE NOT PROJECTING A PRICE INCREASE THIS WINTER”

Speaking about the Black Sea gas, Minister Dönmez said: “The level we have reached in energy is nice and proud. When we deliver Black Sea gas into the system, both our nation and our state will win. The gas that we will extract will cover the needs of the houses and more with the latest discovery. We will use the advantages in favor of our citizens. In all households without exception, 75 percent of natural gas is supplied by the state, and 25 percent is reflected to citizens. We are determined and we will continue with subsidy rates in 2023. We can get up to 15 billion cubic meters of gas annually from Turkish Stream. We do not foresee any increase in energy prices this winter,” he said.

Referring to the oil discovery in Gabar, Dönmez said: “The oil discovery in Gabar is the biggest discovery in recent years. The daily net producible reserve is 7,750 barrels. In terms of price, its equivalent is 12 billion dollars”. he used his statements.
