Horror at customs… The severed head of a child came out of the box

In the horrifying incident that occurred during a routine customs check, the head of a young child was found in a box sent to a female celebrity in the US.

Suspicious of the box during inspection, authorities discovered the head of a mummified child, believed to be between the ages of nine and 12, and presumed to be long dead.

As reported by Correo Argentino, the box was opened on suspicion of smuggling and the macabre discovery was revealed. Inside the box was also a Spider-Man mask.

While the sender on the box was understood to be using a false identity, the address on the box was reported to belong to an American celebrity known for participating in reality shows.

Authorities in Argentina are now investigating whether the woman requested the box be sent to her or if it was sent without her knowledge.

The holder was transferred to the Department of Financial Crimes of Argentina after the intervention of the National Court of Economic Crimes. SNow, it will be held by the Financial Crimes department for security.

Since then, the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team has been working on the find to discover its origin.

A source told Correo Argentino: “It is an extremely rare find. Skeletonized skulls are often seen, but not mummified.” she said.
