The mayor of kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, Vitaliy Klichko, reported that the energy infrastructure was damaged as a result of the attacks of the Russian army on the city at night and in the morning.

In a statement on his Telegram account, Klichko announced that an attack was carried out on kyiv with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Sharing the information that a total of 40 UAVs were destroyed in and around Kyiv by the Ukrainian air defense forces, Klichko said: “15 UAVs were destroyed in neighboring regions, 3 in the Kyiv region. Kyiv and 22 over the capital city. ”.

Klichko said: “The city’s energy infrastructure was damaged in the Russian attack,” and that there were also power outages in the city and problems with heating systems due to the attacks.

Klichko also noted that a civilian who was seriously injured in the missile attack on kyiv on December 31 died in hospital today. (AA)
