Heinrich Schellenberg, Head of the Asia-Pacific Division of the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, shared on Twitter that he was shocked when Switzerland learned of the Taliban’s plans to ban women in Afghanistan from working in national and international NGOs.

“We are evaluating the results of the humanitarian efforts and we call on the Taliban to reconsider this decision,” Schellenberg said. he used the phrases.

The Ministry of Higher Education of the Taliban’s Transitional Government announced on December 20 that the education of female students was suspended until a second announcement, with the instruction sent to all public and private universities in Afghanistan.

After the Taliban took over the administration of Afghanistan on August 15 last year, many women working in the public and private sectors lost their jobs. (AA)
