Turkish-run brothel defeats German rule
Brothers Kenan and Hakkı Şimşek, the brothel operators, claimed that the pressure exerted by the Berlin Prosecutor’s Office on the morning of April 13, 2016 with 680 police officers, 7 prosecutors and 220 customs officers was exaggerated, there was no criminal case to magnify itself, and the prosecution presented itself as the leader of a criminal organization, sued the State and the Senator for Justice.
HEAVY AND UNFORGETTABLE accusations
The operators, who were detained for about 4 months and claimed that they were humiliated by the public with the exaggerated statements of the prosecution, won the case they opened. The Berlin State Administrative Court ordered the brothers to receive compensation of 100,000 euros. In addition, an official apology was made to the two brothers. “The state of Berlin apologizes for any disadvantage caused by these statements, especially for the discredit of the defendants at the time and the claimants now,” the ministry said in a statement.
THEY WILL GIVE COMPENSATION MONEY TO CHILDREN WITH CANCER
Artemis was published with accusations that the women were forced to work as slaves, tax evasion, and the operators were accused of human trafficking, sexual exploitation and acting as an organized crime organization. Business owners also filed a counterclaim when these allegations could not be proven. This lawsuit resulted in compensation last week. The operators announced that they will donate the money to be used in the treatment of children with cancer.
