Attack on Chinese hotel in Kabul
An armed and bomb attack was carried out at a hotel in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, where the Chinese were staying.
According to eyewitnesses, an armed and bombing attack was carried out on a Chinese hotel in the Nev region of the city. It was learned that the attackers entered the hotel and began shooting at random.
A Taliban government spokesman said two foreigners were injured while jumping from the balcony and at least three of the perpetrators were killed in the attack. Two Taliban sources told Reuters that a fire broke out in a flat while the attack was taking place.
A large number of Taliban were dispatched to the region where explosions and gunfire were heard. The Taliban also blocked the entire road leading to the hotel to traffic.
