According to the news from Le Figaro, the Secretary General of Defense and National Security (SGDSN) Stephane Bouillon of the Prime Minister, after sending explosive envelopes to 6 institutions in Spain and suspicious packages to the Ukrainian embassy in Paris, warned the government and all State-level anti-terrorism and security risks sent the Vigipirate high-vigilance notice.
RECALLED SUSPICIOUS LETTERS
In the news, it was recalled that suspicious letters containing substances such as animal eyes and blood were sent to different Ukrainian embassies in the European Union (EU).
In the statement, which includes information on what recipients of such packages should do, security forces are asked to be vigilant at all times and to pass the packages through the X-ray machine.
Known as “vigipirate” in French and first adopted in 1978, the counter-terrorism action plan consists of three stages: “vigilance”, “attack risk” and “urgent attack”. (AA)
