Saudi Arabia: All options are on the table if Iran acquires nuclear weapons

Speaking at the 15th World Political Conference held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Bin Ferhan made remarks on developments in the region.

After the agency reported that Tehran’s statement on these three sites was not technically credible, the IAEA Executive Board made a decision against Iran on June 8.

Following this development, Iran announced on June 9 that it had begun withdrawing various equipment, especially camera systems used by the Agency, to monitor its nuclear program under the 2015 deal.

On November 2, Iran announced that it had sent a delegation to Vienna to narrow differences with the IAEA, while IAEA President Rafael Mariano Grossi said on November 9 that Iran “did not offer anything new” at the last meeting. .

Accusing Iran of not cooperating with the IAEA on its nuclear program, the US, France, Germany and Britain prepared a resolution emphasizing Iran’s “immediate cooperation with the IAEA” before the IAEA Executive Board.

In the resolution, which was voted on by the IAEA Board of Directors on November 17 and received the votes of 26 out of 35 countries, accused Iran of failing to properly cooperate with the IAEA and called on Iran to “immediately provide acceptable technical solution. explanation of the presence of uranium traces in 3 undeclared places”.

In his November 19 statement, Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Emir Abdullahiyan said that the decision made by the IAEA Executive Board against Tehran was “political” and that he would respond to the decision. (AA)
