Former US President Donald Trump believes the US Constitution should be abolished so he can still be declared the winner of the 2020 election.
On the social network he created, Truth Social, on Saturday he reiterated his unfounded accusations that the election results were falsified and wrote that “massive fraud of this type and scale justifies the abolition of all rules, all regulations and articles, even those in the constitution”.
Sentencing in the White House
The White House immediately condemned Trump’s statements. A White House spokesman said an attack on the Constitution was “unacceptable” and should be seen as “an attack on the soul of our country”. He went on to say that “you can’t just love America when you’re winning.”
