Entrepreneurs no longer have business in Russia. So says entrepreneur Jeroen Ketting, who has been active in the country for almost 30 years and who helped the Dutch start a business in Russia. “Nothing good will come of it as long as we live,” says Ketting in the BNR World Conquerors program.

Due to the war that Russia has started in Ukraine, Ketting stopped his activity in Russia for considerations of principle. ‘For me it was very simple: I don’t want to be the one who still has money here, while this regime is there and this war is going on. It was child’s play.’

Chain also does not have a good image for the next generation in Russia. “Future generations can forget the country, nothing good will come of it, as long as we live.” For Ukraine, however, Ketting has a better picture. “They are just moving towards the positive side. This is why it is also important not only to send hundreds of billions to the country (for reconstruction, ed), but also to involve them. We have to start doing things together with the country.’

This is one of the many actions we are carrying out right now.’
