New strategy for the Western Balkans of Italy
Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani stated that there is a greater need for Europe in the Western Balkans and that this is his country’s new strategy.
Tajani attended the meeting of foreign ministers of NATO member countries in Bucharest, the capital of Romania.
Stating that as NATO they have to protect all Western Balkan countries and Ukraine’s neighbours, Tajani said: “It is important to work together now because unity is the most important thing and it is a clear message to Russia that we are ready to protect.” These countries.”
Tajani also met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba due to the meeting.
In the post shared on the Twitter account of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated that the two ministers focused on the resilience of infrastructure in Ukraine and discussed the issue of support, including the Italian Civil Defense, as well as the latest advances in land and grain export initiative.
