Putin’s loss in Ukraine grows… Hundreds of Russian soldiers buried along the way
As the Russian occupation of Ukraine, which is 8.5 months behind, continues with heavy fighting, especially in the east of the country, both sides are suffering heavy losses.
A new picture of Ukraine revealed the heavy losses suffered by the Russian army in the war. The Belarusian state news agency Nexta shared images of the graves of Russian soldiers buried on the side of a road in Lugansk, which is under the control of Russian-backed separatists and where fierce fighting has taken place. In the images that caused great impact on social networks, it was seen that the graves of Russian soldiers along the road are miles away.
The video, which shows more than 400 graves decorated with Russian flags and flowers, was shared with the note “Putin liberated Lunansk from the invaders.” Also striking were the photographs of the soldiers who died in the graves buried in the ground.
Russia announced in the summer that it had taken control of much of eastern Luhansk and Donetsk, where separatist forces are based, but Ukraine, which has struck back in recent weeks, has managed to retake many areas. It is claimed that the Russian military was hit hard and suffered losses as the conflicts in eastern Ukraine became increasingly intense.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia in September after the loss of many places in Ukraine.
Last week, Russia had signaled that it could withdraw from the strategically important Kherson region, which it seized in the first period of the occupation, in the face of advancing Ukrainian forces.
