Shock attack in the US: the main target of the attacker was Nancy Pelosi

San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott and accompanying officials held a news conference on the attack on Paul Pelosi. Stating that they received a report of an incident at Pelosi’s home at 2:27 a.m. local time and immediately rushed to the scene, Scott continued as follows:

“When officers arrived at the scene, they encountered Paul Pelosi and an adult male. Both Pelosi and the attacker had hammers in their hands. The attacker then took the hammer from Pelosi’s hand and viciously attacked Pelosi with the hammer. Police immediately took the gun from the attacker’s hand, detained him and sought medical help.”

THE IDENTITY OF THE ATTACKER IS ANNOUNCED

Scott stated that the attacker was 42-year-old David Depape. Stating that they are conducting the investigation into the cause of the attack in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Congressional Police Department, Scott said that the attacker, who was arrested and jailed, has many problems such as ” attempted murder”, “attack with a deadly weapon”, “beating an old man” and “verbal insults.” He stated that an indictment will be prepared for a serious crime.

While Scott did not provide information about Pelosi’s health at the family’s request, the US media claimed that Paul Pelosi had a head injury and underwent brain surgery, according to hospital sources.

ATTACKER: WHERE IS PELOSI?

In statements to the US press, the authorities, who did not want their names to be revealed, said that the person who attacked Paul Pelosi, 82, “where is Pelosi?” and trying to tie down Paul Pelosi, saying, “Now we’re waiting for Nancy.”

Paul Pelosi, who was attacked at his home in San Francisco, was taken to hospital and the attacker was taken into custody. The investigation into the cause of the incident continues.
