Dream vacations, fantastic accommodation and the pleasure of a warm friendship from a billionaire who offers everything and remains unaffected by the sordid issues of the day, according to the same billionaire. can be seen as subtle, smooth persuasion, even reinforcement of political principles.
“We are gentlemen with limits,” the deal might be. These journeys of her life had no life beyond them. Just special memories.
It goes against common sense that a person who is an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court with enormous power over the lives of millions of Americans should never have given it much thought. Maybe some bureaucrats just forgot to put up such a wealth sign that says “Keep off the weeds.”
