About the editor: The Times found even more examples of apparent plagiarism from USC oncologist Dr. David Agus exposed.
As a well-known textbook author in the 1970s and 1980s, I know how difficult it is to write research-based books and how much effort it takes to proofread them.

Almost as chilling as Agus’s plagiarism are the closing paragraphs of this article, which quote Lisa Flash

About the editor: As an author of unpublished articles for the past eight years who is considering publishing a book, I am angry with the “author”, his ghostwriter and his publisher for publishing these heavily plagiarized books. You all know better than to publish without attributing someone else’s work.
Did Agus read one of his own books and said to himself
The “

He is responsible for every word. One has to wonder, however, whether he himself read any of it.
If the man whose name

Among other things, Agus disgraced himself, the institution he directs, the university he represents, and his publisher.
