Cristiano Ronaldo, star of Al Nassr, had the penalty awarded annulled
Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr team faced Iran’s Persepolis team in Group E of the Asian Champions League. As soon as the match began, Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo fell to the ground in the rival area.
Ronaldo, who fell to the ground when his opponent Soroush Rafaei interfered with the ball, changed the penalty decision made by Chinese referee Ma Ning.
The star stood up and made a ‘No’ sign with his hand as he walked towards the referee, to whom the Persepolis players made intense objections.
After Ronaldo told the referee “no penalty”, the Chinese referee overturned his decision.
