North Korea’s missing star appeared after 3 years

North Korean Han Kwang-Song is on the field with the national team after 3 years

North Korean Han Kwang-Song, who plays for Italian clubs such as Cagliari, Perugia and Juventus, has been missing for more than three years and rejoined the starting eleven for his country’s international match against Syria on Thursday.

The player wore North Korea’s number 10 shirt in the loss to Syria. Although it is believed that he has retired from it and it is not known if he continues playing football for the last three years, it seems that he is still a very important player for his country’s national team.

Han Kwang-Song played in Italian football between 2017 and 2019, where he played for clubs such as Cagliari, Perugia and the Juventus U-23 team.

The striker made history in his country by becoming the first North Korean to score a goal in one of the main European leagues. He did so while playing for Cagliari in the 2016-17 season.

After his time at Juventus, he was transferred to the Al-Duhail team in Qatar for approximately 7 million euros. Al Duhail was his last club before disappearing in August 2020.
