Liverpool defeated Everton with goals from Salah

Liverpool hosted Everton in the Merseyside derby of the English Premier League and won the match 2-0. Mohamed Salah scored the goals that defeated Everton, who were reduced to 10 men in the first half.

Liverpool, who lost to Tottenham and drew with Brighton in their last two league games, started the game against Everton under pressure. Experienced Everton defender Ashley Young, who received a yellow card in the 18th minute of the match, was sent off from the match with a red card when she received a second yellow card in the 37th minute.

Everton, who tried to tie in extra time, scored on a Liverpool counterattack in the 90+7 minute and Salah scored his second goal of the match, making the score 2-0.

With this result, Liverpool increased their points to 20, while Everton remained at 7 points.
