Lewis Hamilton calls for help in Gaza
British driver Lewis Hamilton, seven-time Formula 1 world champion, asked Gaza for help. The 38-year-old Mercedes driver shared on his social media account, which has 35 million followers, the link to the organization that provides emergency aid to those living in Gaza.
Hamilton stated that he was heartbroken by the innocent lives lost in Israel and Palestine, saying: “The magnitude of the pain and loss is truly devastating and there can be no justification for deliberately targeting innocent people, especially children. “We cannot accept this,” he said.
Emphasizing that humanity needs to unite more than ever, Hamilton said: “While there is so much pain and sadness, we must use our collective power to pressure our leaders to do everything they can to end this situation. “We must not stop until all children in the region are safe,” he shared his view.
