Bayern Munich defends Noussair Mazraoui’s Palestinian position
The Bayern Munich Club stated that it opposes the reactions of the Moroccan-Dutch footballer Noussair Mazraoui for his publication on social networks about Palestine and that the player will remain in the team.
Jan-Christian Dreesen, general director of the club, said: “Noussair Mazraoui has convincingly declared to us that, as a peace-loving person, he absolutely rejects terrorism and war. “He regrets that his publications have caused discomfort.” He said and added: “He said that Mazraoui condemned all types of terrorism and all types of terrorist organizations.”
In the statement made on the official Bayern Munich website, it was shared that Mazraoui will continue playing for the team, but for now he will not be in the squad due to the injury he suffered in the Moroccan National Team. (AA)
