Tense moments between Belmadi and Benrahma
The coach of the Algerian team, Djamel Belmadi, almost came to blows with Said Benrahma during the match against Egypt.
Djamel Belmadi is an impulsive man. Anyone who had any doubts about this could see it with their own eyes by watching Algeria’s friendly match against Egypt.
In the 27th minute, the coach of Algeria, who were losing 1-0 to Egypt with 10 men, grabbed Benrahma by the throat after sending him off from the match. He took off West Ham player Said Benrahma in the 65th minute of the match. Benrahma, who had a mediocre performance, did not like the change of player. He refused to shake his coach’s hand when he left the field.
Belmadi is not someone who accepts indiscipline in his team. Then, in front of everyone, he grabbed his player by the shirt.
Although the tension between the two ended before it could escalate further, Algeria managed to leave the field with a 1-1 draw with a goal from Islam Slimani in the 90+3 minute.
Saïd Benrahma refuses to greet Belmadi after departure and Djamel failed to finish the main courses with the West Ham messenger.

BELMADI FOOTBALL WAS ALSO EVENTUAL
Twenty-two years ago, when he was still a player, Belmadi suffered a humiliating defeat (2-5) against the Egyptians.
He threw his shirt away as he left the field. This measure caused him to be the subject of harsh criticism upon his return to his country.
