The 2023 African Cup of Nations groups have been announced!
The group stages of the 2023 African Cup of Nations have been determined. The organization will start on January 13, with Ivory Coast as its headquarters, and will continue with matches in 6 different stadiums and 5 cities until the final on February 11.
In addition to the teams that finish first and second in their groups, the 4 best third-place finishers from the 6 groups will also advance to the round of 16.
The 34th African Cup of Nations, which was originally scheduled for June and July 2023, has been postponed to January 11, 2024 due to adverse weather conditions in Côte d’Ivoire.
This postponement decision will affect football clubs in many countries, especially Turkey, where African footballers play.
Teams will not be able to have players on their rosters until their national teams are eliminated from the tournament.
