Latvia beat Armenia 2-0

Latvia, which beat Armenia 2-0 in the Group D match of the Euro 2024 Qualifiers, achieved a decisive victory for our national football team.

In the 39th minute of the match, Latvian captain Janis Ikaunieks scored a goal and gave his country a 1-0 lead. Latvia, who finished the first half ahead, were reduced to 10 men after Marcis Oss received a red card in the 52nd minute.

However, hosts Latvia, who did not lose control of the match against Armenia despite being a man down, won the match 2-0 with Daniels Balodis’ goal in the 68th minute and managed to score their first point of the group.
