Flash Israeli UEFA decision
Due to the current security situation in Israel, all matches scheduled to take place in the country over the coming weeks have been postponed.
In UEFA’s statement on the matter, “In light of the current security situation in Israel, UEFA has decided to postpone all matches scheduled in Israel over the coming weeks, and new dates will be confirmed in due course.”
Consequently, it was decided to postpone the matches that were to be played until October 17 in Israel to a later date.
THE DECISION ON THE KOSOVO-ISRAEL MATCH WILL BE MADE IN A FEW DAYS
Meanwhile, according to the statement, “UEFA has allocated a few more days to evaluate whether the Kosovo-Israel match in the 2024 European qualifiers can be played on the originally scheduled date of October 15 or if it needs to be postponed.”
It was stated that UEFA will continue to closely monitor the situation and remain in contact with all teams involved before making a decision on new dates and possible changes to other future matches.
The matches that were scheduled to be played in Israel but were postponed are the following:
Qualifiers for the 2024 European Championship:
October 12: Israel-Switzerland
UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2025:
October 12: Israel-Estonia
October 17: Israel-Germany
UEFA European Under-17 Championship 2024:
October 11 – October 17: Mini tournament (AA) with the participation of Israel, Belgium, Gibraltar and Wales
