Richarlison: I will receive psychological help

Richarlison’s emotional statement: “I will seek psychological help”

Brazilian star Richarlison announced that he will receive ‘psychological help’ when he returns to Tottenham after the international break and that he wants to work on his mind after the ‘turbulent time’ he spent off the field.

The Spurs striker was left in tears after being taken off during Brazil’s 5-1 win over Bolivia on Saturday. Richarlison missed a golden goal opportunity before being substituted, and the 26-year-old had emotional moments on the bench.

THE GOAL OF CRITICISM AT TOTTENHAM

He was substituted in the 64th minute of Brazil’s 1-0 victory against Peru on Tuesday, and the team ended the intermission goalless.

Richarlison, who was criticized for not scoring a goal at Tottenham, explained in his post-match statement that he was affected by off-field events in which people who had an eye on his money “walked away” from him.

RICHARLISON: PEOPLE WHO TAKE CARE OF MY MONEY…

The forward stated that this influenced his emotional reaction against Bolivia in Belem and added that he would receive “psychological help” in Tottenham.

Speaking to Brazilian newspaper Globo, the star striker said: “I have gone through a turbulent period off the pitch in the last five months. Now everything is fine at home. People who only covet my money have distanced themselves from me.” He used the following expressions and said:

“Things will go well now, I’m sure I’ll have a good run at Tottenham and do something again. “That sad moment was not because I played badly, I don’t think I played badly in Belem, it was rather an explosion related to things that happened off the field, it got out of control, not because of me but because of people close to me. me.”

“I WILL SEEK HELP FROM A PSYCHOLOGIST”

‘I will return to England and seek psychological help from a psychologist to work on my mind. That’s it, I’ll come back stronger. I think I will be in the next team and I will work for it. “It’s about getting a good run at Tottenham. I’ll sit down and talk to them this week. I need a good run, I need to get into the rhythm of the game.”

Richarlison did not elaborate on the off-field issues, but according to Globo’s report; The Brazilian player parted ways with his long-time coach, Renato Velasco, who supported him from the beginning of his career.

ONLY 3 GOALS IN 35 GAMES

Richarlison, who scored 20 goals in 45 appearances for Brazil, has fallen on hard times since joining Tottenham in a £60million transfer last season. In his first season with Spurs, the striker scored just three goals in 35 appearances in all competitions.

Richarlison is yet to score in four Premier League games this season, but scored in the Carabao Cup. Harry Kane’s move to Bayern Munich gave Richarlison the opportunity to become Tottenham’s starting striker.
