Canada beat the USA and placed 3rd in the FIBA World Cup
In the third match the United States and Canada faced off, losing to their rivals in the FIBA World Cup semifinals. Canada won the NBA All-Star game in Manila, Philippines. Canada won the match 127-118, which went to overtime with a score of 111-111, and took the bronze medal. This 3rd place was the first medal in the history of the Canadian National Basketball Team.
Dillon Brooks had a great role in Canada’s victory. In addition to scoring 39 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists against the United States, the NBA star also managed to be effective on defense.
